HomePrint, What is it?

Puget Sound Energy is promoting two different levels of tesing to evaluate your homes usage. The simple, free, HomePrint Assessment, and the comprehensive Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Evaluation.

HomePrint Assesment: The HomePrint Assesment is a FREE overview of your home’s energy use. This in-home service will provide you with a better understanding of your home’s basic energy consumption, cost effective ways to use less energy, along with useful information on ultimately improving the comfor and efficiency of your home. It inclues: 1. On-site installation of up to 50, FREE compact fluorescent light bulbs. 2. A summary of energy-saving recommendations. 3. Information on: PSE energy-efficient product rebates, contractor referrals, and other helpful energy efficiency tips. To qualify you must be a PSE cutomer living in an existing single-family property or attached housing with four units or less. One (1) rebate per household.

Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Evaluation: This is a whole-house approach to improving efficiency and comfort through Home Performance with ENERGY STAR(HPwES). We are certified Home Performance contractor, who can evaluate your home using state-of-the-art equipment, recommend comprehensive improvements that will yield the best results, and help you to get the work done. Unlike the PSE Home Assessment, HPwES employs an in-depth, scientific evaluation of your home by certified building analysts, who perform both simple and complex tests on your home, including blower door testing and infrared photography. This evaluation is a comprehensive approach your home’s performance, with detailed findings and specific measures you can take. Puget Sound Energy has a $450 HPwES Rebate Program that also offers additional rebates, to help you save on the costs of upgrading the performance of your home. PSE HPwES rebate You may qualify for up to a $450 rebate for a Home Performance with ENERGY STAR evaluation. Must be a PSE electric or electric and natural gas combined customer living in an existing single-family property built before 1990 where, the primary heating source is provided by PSE. One (1) rebate per household.
